रांचीः झारखण्ड के लातेहार जिला में स्थित बेतला नेशनल पार्क के 5 हिरणों की मौत ट्रेन से कट कर हो गई। बताया जा रहा है कि बेतला नेशनल पार्क से कुछ ही दूरी पर सोमवार की सुबह केचकी रेलवे स्टेशन के समीप पांच हिरणों की मौत ट्रेन से कटकर हो गई, जिसमें हिरण का एक नवजात बच्चा भी शामिल है। सोमवार की सुबह लगभग सात बजे के आसपास यह दर्दनाक घटना घटी। जिसकी जानकारी तत्काल ग्रामीणों द्वारा बेतला वन विभाग कार्यालय को दी गई।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही घटना स्थल पर लातेहार डीएफओ रोशन कुमार समेत दर्जनों वन अधिकारी पहुंचे और मामले की जानकारी लेने में जुट गए। मौके पर ही मृत हिरणों के शव की पोस्टमार्टम करते हुए कागजी कार्रवाई पूरी की गई।
पूर्व में ही वैकल्पिक रेलवे लाईन के लिए रेलवे को सुझाव दिया जा चुका हैः डीएफओ
मौके पर पहुंते लातेहार डीएफओ ने बताया कि ये झारखण्ड का एक मात्र टाइगर रिजर्व एरिया है, जहां रिजर्व एरिया के बीच से होकर ट्रेनें गुजरती हैं, ऐसे में हमने सुबह के समय यहां से होकर गुजरने वाली ट्रेनों की जानकारी मांगी है। चूंकि इस मार्ग से वन्य जीवों की सुरक्षा कैसे हो इसके लिए रेलवे के वरीय अधिकारियों से इसपर वार्ता होगी। भविष्य में इस कोर एरिया से होकर और भी लाइनें रेलवे की बननी है जिसे लेकर हम लोगो ने वैकल्पिक मार्ग भी रेलवे को बताया था, ताकि वन्य जीवों की सुरक्षा हो सके। लेकिन इस पर अब तक कोई अमल नहीं किया गया है।

Ranchi: 5 deer of Betla National Park in Latehar district of Jharkhand were killed by train. It is being told that five deer were killed by train near Kechki railway station on Monday morning, including a newborn child of deer, at a distance from Betla National Park. This traumatic incident occurred around seven o’clock on Monday morning. The villagers were immediately informed by the Betla Forest Department office.
As soon as the incident was reported, dozens of forest officials, including Latehar DFO Roshan Kumar, arrived at the scene and started taking information about the case. Post-mortem of dead deer carcass was completed on the spot.
Railway has already been suggested for alternative railway lines in the past: DFO
Latehar DFO, who reached the spot, said that this is the only Tiger Reserve area in Jharkhand, where trains pass through the middle of the reserve area, in such a situation, we have asked for information about trains passing through here in the morning. Since this route will be negotiated with the preferred railway officials for protection of wildlife. In future, more lines are to be constructed through this core area, about which we had told the alternate route to the railways, so that wildlife can be protected. But it has not been implemented so far.
